Ivermectin 1% Injection
1) Composition: ivermectin 10mg/ml
2) Indications: ivermectin is indicated for the effective treatment and control of
gastrointestinal roundworms, lung worms, eye worms, mange mites and sucking
lice. Indicated for camel, cattle, sheep and pigs
3) Dosage and administration:
a) Camel, cattle: 0.2mg/kg (1ml for 50kg bodyweight) in a single injection
b) Sheep: 0.2mg/kg (1ml for 50kg body weight). For the control of skin diseases
caused by Psoroptes ovis, another injection should be given 7 days after the
first injection
c) Pigs: 0.3mg/kg (1.5ml for 50kg body weight) in a single injection
4) Withdrawal time:
a) Cattle and pigs: 28 days
b) Sheep: 21 days
